First Day

First Day I was given this sheet as a guide for picking specific lifts and how to incorporate them into a workout for a specific athlete and sport. Kyle went over examples and then tested me on an athlete and what lift I would do for there sport. He also taught me proper warmup technique for the athletes including foam rolling, stretching, band work and other ways to increase workout effectiveness. This is explaining what moves are helpful for each sport and how I can determine that as a coach. If an exercise meets the criteria on the right side then its beneficial for sport settings. Going over this at this time I was a little overwhelmed but once Kyle gave instructions and examples on how exactly to put this together in a workout I was able to get a sense on what exactly it took to make an overall established workout for our athletes.
